Julian Sachs 副教授：
1991年获美国麻省理工学院地球及大气科学专业学士学位，1997年获得麻省理工学院及Woods Hole海洋研究所化学海洋学专业博士学位。2005-2006年任麻省理工学院地球及大气科学系副教授，2006年至今任美国华盛顿大学海洋学院副教授。现任美国地球物理协会会员、美国地球化学协会会员， Geochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems 等期刊副编辑。主要研究方向： Late Quaternary climate. Evolution of the tropical Pacific climate since the last glacial period. Tropical Pacific rainfall changes during the last 2,000 years. Holocene evolution of Northwest Atlantic temperatures. Development and application of organic geochemical and stable isotopic techniques in paleoclimatology and oceanography，已在国际知名期刊发表论文近百篇。
