Areas of interest include biogeochemical process and climate effects of reactive gases, marine organic geochemistry, marine biogenic elements biogeochemistry, trace metals, seawater multipurpose utilization and environmental-friendly marine functional materials and protection technology. MCTL is now an advanced research institution carrying out marine chemistry and technology research at the national level.

The candidate should have an overseas Ph.D. degree/overseas postdoctoral experience and a strong publication record. The candidate is also expected to conduct independent, externally funded, and nationally recognized research programs.
